SHARAD PURNIMA:
        Sharad Purnima is observed on the night of full moon of Ashvina. The night of full moon of Ashvin is also known as the Moon of Ashvin is also known as the Moon-god and the lord of herbs, seeds, the Brahmins, water and Nakshatras or constellations. It is believed that on the Sharad Purnima day, the Moon  through his beams is showering Amrit or elixir on the earth.
